I am a survivor with two kids...
going through the entire treatment and illness was hell. It wasn't the illness, totally -- it is the thought that you might one day leave your two little kids without a mom. |

Hi, That was the worst bit for me - wondering if I would see my 4 children grow up and how my husband and children would cope without me!!! My children were 8, 6, 4 and 2yrs when I was diagnosed.
Think that is a normal feeling and actually found having the children helped me get through the treatment.
Absolutely shattered by the end of it, relief that the chemo was over and my body saying - ok, now you can relax a little.
Even now I have thoughts of what if...... but that is exactly what it is now - a thought, and not something that is on my mind day in day out.
Take care, well done for getting through it with 2 children.
